Costume Instructions

Prep Time: 3 hours + paint dry time

Costume Materials
3 - 30x40" pieces of foam board(project board)
1 - 4' x 4' x 3" piece of high density foam (inside couches)
packing tape
hot glue
1 can of red spray paint
2 cans of yellow spray paint
4 feet of cloth strap

Costume Instructions
I traced a pattern for the front and back of the box into the foam board. Both pieces have the same basic shape - they are wider at the top by about 3 inches. In addition, the front has a bit of a curve taken out and the back back is bit longer.

The sides are the same height as the front and are also tapered. I cut circular arm holes about 3 inches from the top.

I used a razor to score and cut the boards and seamed the pieces together using packing taper.

I used red spray paint and let the box dry.

The french fries were fun to make and required plenty of real samples to get the true essence and shape of the fries. I used a electric meat carver to cut and shape each piece.

A pillow case, spray painted with a red rectangle added a finishing touch.
