Costume Materials
Depending on size of child. you will need about 8 yards of black fabric and 2 yards of black sheer fabric and black thread.

Costume Instructions
Take two squares of fabric wider than the arms of the child and just a little longer than there shoulder to floor. And out of another piece of fabric rip 2" wide stripes that are the same length or a little longer. Then take a ½ circle of fabric big enough to shroud over the head and put a hem on the straight side. Leaving a neck hole in the top sew the stripes and top of shoulder together. Shirr up the round portion of the ½ circle to size of neck hole and sew together.

Make sure the neck hole is big enough for the head to get through. Next set the costume on the person and mark area for the body and mark the arms and then sew a l shape on each side forming this. Then cut or rip from the bottom up to where you sewed the arms. and do this up to the body.

Find a piece of sheer black fabric and drape over the head before putting on the costume and then you have a hard time seeing the face of the child and you are done.
