"Cowardly Lion Costume"

My Mom made my 5yo daughter a beautiful Dorothy (Wizard of Oz)Dress. I wanted something that would go with it for my 19mo daughter.
While shopping at our local thrift store I saw a huge stuffed lion. I held it up to my daughter and realized it would be a perfect fit so that she could be the Cowardly Lion.
Costume Instructions
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Costume Materials
Black paint for face
2 safety pins
Stocking hat (optional)
Costume Instructions
I removed all the stuffing.
I cut out the bottom of the feet.
I cut holes in the paws.
I pulled the lions body up over my daughter and safety pinned the back of the neck to make a snug fit.
I took a stocking hat and put that on her head and then put the lions head on top of that so that it would stay in place.
I safety pinned the lions head together under her chin.
I painted her nose black and added some whiskers....
Voila....the perfect fast and easy Cowardly Lion to match Dorothy!
