Costume Instructions

Prep Time: Less than 60 minutes

Costume Materials
Approx 2 yards of calico material (depending on child's size) you want to make the material large enough to wrap around 2 1/2 times to allow for fullness when sewn)
Approx 2 yards of suede material
Ruffled White Blouse
Colonial Cap

Costume Instructions
Calico material was cut to length and width is 2 1/2 times the childs size. Fold over edge of material approx 2 inches and straight stitch, then stitch up sides of material to the waste band. Insert elastic for the waist cut to length and stitch elastic, then hand stitch the seam closed.

The cape is no sew. Simple take the suede material and drape over shoulders (once draped on child you may want to trim material to desired shape) Hold the cape together over the shoulder with a large brooch.

Then put on white ruffled blouse, cap and ankle boots. Then you are magically transformed back hundreds of years.
