Q: I've just entered my child in the Gap Casting Call. When will I be able to view my entry on the site?
A: All entries are reviewed individually by moderators before going live on the site. Once your entry is approved, you'll receive an e-mail letting you know. Please note, depending on contest entry volume, photo approvals may take up to 24 hours or longer.
Q: How do I find my entry on the site?
A: Once your entry is approved, you can search by user name or contestant ID to view it.
Q: Why do I have to register to vote?
A: We require guests to register to maintain the integrity of the contest voting process and to ensure that guests can only vote once per entry per day per person/valid e-mail address.
Q: How does Fan Favorite voting work?
A: Members may vote for a Fan Favorite winner once per entry per day per person/valid e-mail address.
Q: Will votes for different photos of the same child be added together?
A: No. Each photo a member submits is treated as a separate entry; votes will not be combined.
Q: If I enter my child on the last day of the contest, will they only have one day to get Fan Favorite votes?
A: No. While the last day to enter your child is October 22, 2009, Fan Favorite voting continues through November 17, 2009.
Q: How do you monitor votes?
A: Guests are required to register with a unique e-mail address and log in to vote. At the Administrator's (Disney Online) sole discretion, guests may be disqualified from the Contest and/or from the voting process if they create one or more invalid e-mail addresses/accounts with intent to affect the integrity of the submission and/or voting process.
Q: Do Fan Favorite votes help my child become one of the 20 Casting Call finalists?
A: No. The Fan Favorite winner is determined based on the number of votes an entry receives. The 20 Casting Call finalists are chosen by a panel of judges, independent of how many Fan Favorite votes each entry receives.
Q: How is the Fan Favorite winner chosen?
A: The one entrant in the Gap Casting Call who receives the most fan votes will be crowned Fan Favorite.
Q: How are the Casting Call finalists and winners chosen?
A: In November, a panel of judges will select the Gap Casting Call's 20 finalists (five baby boys, five baby girls, five boys and five girls) from the entries submitted September 22, 2009 through October 22, 2009. In December, the public will vote to decide the four contest winners from among the 20 finalists (one from each category).
