I remember the ice cube tray and toothpick popsicles. The way you make the toothpicks stay up straight is to cover the tray with plastic wrap after pouring in the juice, then sticking the picks through the plastic.

We made these also when I was a kid. My favorite was always the orange juice popsicles.......yummy!!!!!

I used to make these as a kid, only I'd take whatever juice was in the fridge, fill up an ice cube tray and stick toothpicks in the middle, then voila! Instant popsicles. Albeit small and oddly shaped.

We loved these as kids, the were the highlight of hot summer afternoons.
