If you're in need of a quick dish in 30 minutes, these potatoes are your perfect choice.
Ingredients
3 medium potatoes, sliced
1/2 cup of milk
2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons butter
1 1/4 cups milk or cream
salt and pepper
- Slice the potatoes. Drop slices in boiling salted water and cook for 5 minutes. Drain. Put one third of the potatoes in a greased cake tin or gratin dish. Sprinkle with half the flour and dot with half the butter. Make two more layers this way, ending with potatoes.
- In a saucepan, heat the milk or cream with salt and pepper and pour over the potatoes. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for about 1/2 hour. Makes 6 servings.
