Roast Ham with Tangy Mustard Glaze

From our provider:

Ingredients

3 pounds fully cooked boneless ham, visible fat removed
    1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
1/4 cup dark brown sugar, packed
    1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
    1/4 cup sugar
    2 tablespoons cornstarch
Directions
  1. Place the ham in the Crock-Pot® slow cooker.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, combine the allspice, brown sugar, mustard and 2 teaspoons of the lemon juice. Spoon the mustard sauce evenly over the ham.
  3. Cover and cook on Low for 6 to 7 hours, or until the ham is warm throughout and the sauce is well absorbed in the ham. Transfer the ham to a warm serving platter.
  4. Transfer the juices from the stoneware to a small, heavy saucepan along with the lemon juice, sugar, and cornstarch. Heat this over medium high heat until the mixture boils. Once boiling, reduce to medium heat, stirring, until the sauce is thickened and glossy. Carve the ham into slices and spoon the sauce over the individual servings. Serves 12 to 15.

Serves: 6-8
Size: 3-6 quarts
