I like the idea of using fresh salmon with this instead. That'd cut down on the sodium and -- with the spaghetti -- still be a great way to get kids into this fish if they haven't tried it yet.

I made this for a party last year and the upside was that it was super easy to make in a large quantity. It's quick, it's savory, and it's flavorful. I wasn't a fan of the canned salmon. I'd either use higher quality next time, or use fresh baked or grilled instead. Have extra lemon juice on hand to counteract any fishiness.
