Jo's Rosemary Bread

Wonderfully generous with the rosemary, with support from a little black pepper and Italian seasoning, this bread comes out light and fragrant from the bread machine.

Yield:1 - 1 1/2 pound loaf
Ingredients
 1 cup water
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 1/2 teaspoons white sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon dried rosemary
2 1/2 cups bread flour
1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
Directions
  1. Place ingredients in the pan of the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select white bread cycle; press Start.

My breadmaker is barely out of its box, but this recipe made me seem like an old pro! I've also kneaded it by hand before -- tastes just as good, but more labor intensive. I eat it warm w/ olive oil and balsamic vinegar and I pretty much polish off half a loaf on my own.
