Blueberry and Pear Puree

From our provider:
Yield: Makes 2 portions. Suitable from seven months. Suitable for freezing (without banana).
blueberry and pear

You can make this with a pear and blueberries or in summer with a peach and blueberries. Blueberries have the highest antioxidant content of any fruit. This is quite a runny puree and so it's good to thicken it with some mashed banana or Greek yogurt.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Put the chopped pear and blueberry into the microwave dish, cover with the lid, open the valve and cook for one and a half minutes.
  2. Alternatively put the fruit in a small saucepan and cook for a couple of minutes.
  3. Mash or puree the cooked pear and blueberries together with a small banana. Alternatively mix with some yogurt.
