Sesame Honey Drumsticks

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 F.
  2. In a non-metallic bowl combine the hoisin sauce, golden syrup, soy sauce, oil and sesame seeds. Score the drumsticks, add to the sauce and toss well to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 30 mins.
  3. Remove the drumsticks, reserving the marinade and put on a sheet pan lined with non-stick parchment paper. Brush with the reserved marinade and cook for 35 to 40 minutes, basting a couple of times, until the chicken is thoroughly cooked.
  4. Wrap the end of the drumsticks in aluminum foil so that they are easy to hold.
