Snow Cream
What do you do with a big batch of freshly fallen snow? Make Snow Cream! The kids love this one even if the texture is quite different from traditional ice cream. The minute the first flake falls, they're asking when we'll be making it. It's fast and fun and the best part is, they can make this by themselves.
Hands-On Time: 10 minutes

1/3 to 1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to your taste)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 to 6 cups clean, freshly fallen snow
