Grandma's Meatloaf

My grandmother's meatloaf was always made with cornflakes instead of bread crumbs.


    1 1/2 lbs ground beef
    3/4 cup corn flakes, crushed
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/2 cup milk
    1/2 tablespoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon pepper
    1/4 cup onion, chopped


  1. Mix all ingredients (except ketchup) well and shape into a loaf.
  2. Spread ketchup evenly over the top.
  3. Bake for about 2 hours at 250° F.
