Homemade Pita Chips
Why make your own pita chips when you can buy them prepackaged? Fresh flavor. They're surprisingly little trouble to make, and perfect scoopers for a Spinach-Dip Bread Bowl, Enchilada Dip, or Silken Guacamole.

Yield: 36 chips
3 (7-inch) whole wheat pitas
Olive oil or olive oil cooking spray
Kosher salt
- Heat oven to 400 degrees. Cut each pita in half, then split each half into two pieces.
- Brush or spray the rough side of each half with the olive oil, then stack the halves and cut into 6 wedges each.
- Arrange in a single layer on large baking sheet and bake 6 to 8 minutes, until browned.
