Two-Bean Salsa
There's nothing like a premiere party and, since High School Musical is set in Albuquerque, I came up with these fabulous appetizers with a Southwest flair.

Ready In: 2 hours and 10 minutes
Yield: 4 cups
1 (15 ounce) can dark red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1 (4 ounce) can diced jalapeno peppers (optional)
3 large tomatoes, seeded and diced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon minced cilantro
salt, pepper and sugar as needed
- Combine all and mix well.
- Season to taste and chill for several hours to blend flavors. Serve with tortilla chips.
