Green Beans with Walnuts

What on earth is a mother of seven doing posting about cooking for two? I started out this two-fer crusade simply wanting to come up with alternatives to the traditional Thanksgiving dinner.

Hands-On Time: 5 minutes
Ready In: 15 minutes
Yield: 2 servings

Ingredients

    1 cup fine green beans, frozen or fresh
    2 tablespoons walnuts
    olive oil
    1 tablespoon lime juice
    salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Thaw beans if frozen, or cook until desired doneness if fresh.
  2. Toss with a drizzle of olive oil, walnuts and lime juice.
  3. Heat through.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
