Deceptively Delicious Brownies
I made these for snack one day when my son had his cousins over. The ages were two five year olds and an eight year old. My son took a bite and said "I don't like these." The eight year old didn't have to say anything, I saw the look on his face when he took a bite. The other five year old didn't mind them , but the funny thing is that she will eat spinach on its own anyway. I tried them and thought the texture was a bit odd and I could taste the spinach even completely cooled as the recipe suggested. Maybe only 1/4 cup spinach would work better. I may try and "fix" the recipe for our household.

I have no problem with sneaking healthier ingredients into desserts, as long as we don't start feeding our kids more sweets just because they're slightly better than they were.

I have Jessica Seinfeld's book, and this is a delicious recipe! My preschooler had no idea they were healthy - all she cared about was that they were very 'chocolatey!"
