I can't say enough GOOD things about this recipe! Wow! I don't think I have ever made a simplier yet scrumptous pasta! This pasta takes only minutes to prepare, but is truly one of the best pasta's I have ever had. I love the hint of spice illuminating from the touch of crushed red pepper flakes. Each bite is so unique in it's very own way, depending on how much basil, mozzarella or garlic you swirled onto your fork. Effortless to prepare, and so rewarding to sit down and eat. Even my husband commented on just how delicious this recipe was. Unfortunately, since I do have the pickiest eaters on the planet, they opted for the plain pasta with parmesan that I made on the side. That is the beauty about this recipe, you can make a plain pasta on the side for less adventurous eaters.

I'd I mention how delicious your home will smell after preparing this recipe? Straight out of a villa in Italy. Serve it with a simple side salad and some warm bread. Mmmm…. I think this is one of those pasta's that would work warm or cold. It could be a refreshing lunch entrée, if you decided to serve it cold.

This is definitely one of those "once a week" kind of recipes. It will now replace my plain pasta with spaghetti sauce from a jar recipes.
