Isabelle and the final product

They were pretty to look at after they cooked and had a light brown-baked tinge to them. They were delicious to eat and everyone at the table cleaned their plate. What more can you ask for?

Tarek enjoying mashed potatoes

I made it exactly like the recipe but substituted Neufchatel (a lower fat variety) of cream cheese and a reduced fat sour cream as well. These potatoes were really good and everyone in the family liked them but they seem like a heart attack waiting to happen. Cream cheese, sour cream, butter... so good yet so bad!

Tarek still enjoying mashed potatoes

This recipe was delicious but really should be saved for special occasions. It's fun to eat high fat and calorie food sometimes - so long as it is infrequently and so long as it tastes great!
