My favorite cookie is one I make every year, they are like chocolate brownie thumbprint cookies but instead of jam or jellie in the middle there is a maraschino cherry and then you cover it in fudge and bake it, yum! tastes like a chocolate covered cherry!

My family always loves my sugar cookies. I've made them in the past with applesauce instead of oil and butter, so they'll be healthier. They actually come out pretty well that way, nice and chewy, but not fluffy at all. They work great plain, but you can totally put icing on top too.
