Ice Cream Cookie Cups
Shortening helps cookies keep their shape but lacks flavor, butter makes cookies crisp but can make the cookie spread too much during baking and they can end up a bit greasy. A combo of the two gives you the best of both.

I just made these, they came out delicious!!! My only advice is to keep it in the fridge as a few ours longer, it makes the dough stiffer and helps with cracks, but they were very very yummy =D

I also wonder about using the pre-made dough. Why do I need shortening and butter?
