Homemade Clown Costume

Prep Time: Takes 15 mins to put on
Costume Materials
- Yardage of fleece (length of child)
- Sewing machine
- Thread
- Elastic
- Velcro or snaps
- Yarn
- We had the child lay down on the fabric & trace them. Make sure that it is doubled so that you can cut both piece at the same time.
- Then we'd cut out of fleece the outline. Make sure it is baggy enough. We used our costume for 3 years! Stich down both sides.
- Then we made scruchies out of the same fabric for the wrists & legs!
- We put Velcro on the back to hold it closed & then attached the collar.
- Then loop yarn around your fingers & take a smaller piece to tie around one end.
- Then cut the other side so it looks like a lot of single pieces of yarn. It was so warm, but the fake eyelashes got all the attention!!!
