Prep Time: 1 1/2 hours to make.
Costume Materials
- Choice of pants (I made mine, but black sweat pants would work fine.)
- Red felt -- 3/4 yard
- White felt -- one square
- A black Sharpie to draw skeleton skull on front
- A white sweatshirt
- Gold material to make a sash
- A bandana
- A beaded necklace
- You may buy an eyepatch, although I made mine with some black felt and elastic.
- If you choose to use the black sweat pants and white sweatshirt, buy a size bigger so you can cut the arms and legs to make points.
- I took the red felt and folded it in half, then cut out the hole for the head.
- I then took the white felt, and drew by hand the skeleton head and sewed it to the front.
- I sewed the sides closed up, and left enough space for arm holes.
- I bought 1/4 yard of gold material to tie a sash around the waist.
- You could either buy a premade eyepatch, or even use black felt and black elastic and make your own.
