Aquarium Costume
Prep Time: About 6 hours
Costume Materials
- black material
- black electrical tape
- piece of clear vinyl
- construction paper
- cellophane
- super glue
- clear rocks
- cardboard box
- fish border
- fish stickers
- 2 lights
- batteries
- and a turtleneck MOST of which was purchased at the local dollar store.
- Cover a cardboard box with black material, cut out front and holes for head and arms. Trim corners and sides with electrical tape. Cover front with clear vinyl.
- Cover entire inside with construction paper (blue) and back of tank with fish border, then recover the entire inside with colored cellophane.
- Glue clear rocks to inside bottom of tank and glue a couple of fish to the front (I used fish that I cut out from the left over fish border).
- Glue 2 battery operated lights to inside top of tank. Top it of with a torqouise turtleneck with fish stickers on it to give it a 3D apperance.
- There are many things you can take away and add to this costume to make it unique in your own way.
