I handmade everything you see in this photo. I get really creative so I decided to make a cow costume homemade. It started out with just an experiment and then I finished it and tried it on my son, and thought it looked cute so I went with the costume.

Costume Materials
  • baby pajama outfit
  • 2 sets of black socks
  • 3 small sheets of black felt
  • 1 sheet of pink felt
  • white grease pencil
  • 4 baby bottle nipples
  • 1 small headband
  • 1 white string
  • 1 bell
  • glue gun with lots of glue
Costume Instructions
  1. To make pattern on felt, cut out wiggly shapes (because a cow does not have perfect spots!).
  2. Get a piece of pink felt, cut out two long oval shapes, and glue them to both sides of the pajamas.
  3. On the small strip that covers the buttons, make four slits where you want to place the baby nipples. Insert them into the holes and glue them in place. You'll now have two sets of black socks (one set for the hands and one set for the feet).
  4. Get a string and string a bell through it. Tie it in a knot and secure it around baby's neck. Get a really thin headband and wrap it with white felt.
  5. Cut small, ear-like shapes and small black dots and glue them to the headband. A cute baby completes the outfit!
