Even after she'd been transformed from the castle cook into an enchanted teapot, Mrs. Potts always performed her duties at the Beast's palace with grace and kindness. When Belle wandered into the kitchen late one night after foregoing dinner, for example, Mrs. Potts was quick to wake the china and put together a full-blown feast. It's little wonder the young teacup, Chip, looked up to her so much. Here's a fun homemade card specially designed for a tea-rrific mom like Mrs. Potts.

You'll need:

Instructions:

1. Print the templates and cut out the pieces. Trace the inner and outer cup shapes onto contrasting sheets of scrapbook paper. Do the same with the saucer circles and the cup handle. Trace the teabag and tag pieces onto white paper.

2. Cut out all of the tracings.

3. Apply glue along the side and bottom edges (but not along the top or in the middle) of the inner cup. Then press the outer cup in place on top of it, matching up the sides and bottoms. Step 3a Step 3b
4. Next, assemble the saucer by layering and gluing together the circles, as shown. Glue the bottom of the cup to the saucer. Step 4a Step 4b

5. Fold a 7- by 11-inch piece of scrapbook paper in half to create a card, and glue the teacup to the face of it. Then glue the cup handle in place.

6. To make the teabag, knot one end of the string or yarn and then staple it below the knot to the top of the teabag cutout. Attach the tag to the opposite end of the string in the same manner and then decorate it with a small heart (either drawn on or cut out of paper and glued on), if you like. Step 6

7. Tuck the teabag inside the cup, letting the tag dangle outside.

8. Finally, use markers or sticker letters to spell out the message, "You're Tea-rrific" above the teacup.
