Linda Salter of Fort Wainwright, Alaska, devised an artful way of preserving the dust jackets from her boys' cherished picture books: she turned them into a wall hanging for their playroom.

Prep Time: About 1 to 2 hours
What you need:
 Con-tact Paper
Wooden Dowel
Old Book Covers/Sleeves
String
Seasons: Year round
Materials: contact paper, string
Instructions:
1.After laying out the book jacket design, she transferred it facedown onto a length of clear Con-Tact paper, leaving 4 inches at the top to wrap around a wooden dowel.
2.She placed a second length of Con-Tact paper on top, then tied a length of string to the ends of the dowel for hanging.
