We all know the gross anatomy of a peeled-off outfit--that
bedside heap of dirty-kneed jeans (underwear still inside)
topped by an inside-out T-shirt/sweatshirt combo.
Becky Sprague, a mother of four from Richmond, Indiana,
knew it all too well. Inspired by the
if-you-can't-lick-'em-join-'em philosophy, she installed a
basketball hoop hung with a laundry-bag net. "I never have to
pick up laundry anymore," she says

| 1. | The hoop was a yard sale find, repainted, then screwed to
her sons' bedroom wall. The net was a mesh laundry bag with a
zipper closing.

| 2. | She cut open the bottom and hooked the bag to the rim,
zipper end down. When laundry day comes, she places her laundry
basket beneath the full mesh bag and opens the zipper. Swish!
