Both functional and whimsical, this window-style mirror features a colorful plastic window box just right for storing brushes, mousse and any other accessories your child needs to style her hair. There are even hooks for hanging her necklaces and bracelets.

Tips
If you can't find hooks you like, you can use needle-nose pliers to fashion your own out of pliable steel wire.

Prep Time: About 1 to 2 hours
What you need:
2 decorative bent-wire hooks with screws to attach them to the mirror frame
Window-style mirror (sold at many department stores)
1/2-inch screws
Plastic shower caddy (the type with suction cups on back)
Hot glue gun
Assorted silk flowers
Feather butterflies
Silk dragonflies
Seasons: Year round
Materials: glue
Instructions:
1.First, attach the hooks to the upper corners of the mirror frame by drilling starter holes in the wood and then screwing the hooks in place.
2.Next, transform the shower caddy into a window box by removing the suction cups from the back. Then predrill a couple of screw holes in the lower portion of the mirror frame that will match up with two of the holes in the back of the caddy.
3.Turn the screws into the holes until the heads stick out of the wood a quarter of an inch. Then hang the caddy from the screw heads.
4.For a finishing touch, hot-glue the silk flowers, feather butterflies and silk dragonflies to the mirror frame
5.Finally, hang the mirror on a wall at a height that suits your child and fill the window box with her supplies.

There's a picture of it on FamilyFun.com if you just search Hairstlying Station. It's really cute!

It sounds like a great idea...I think. But a visual would be great. Anyone done this that has a picture of it?
