| Materials: clay , wire | |
| Instructions: | |
| 1. | Roll a small ball of clay for the cake platter. |
| 2. | Flatten it into a thick disk. |
| 3. | Roll a slightly larger ball of clay for the cake. |
| 4. | Form it into a cake shape and set it on the platter. |
| 5. | For cake icing, roll a snake of clay and a bunch of small
clay balls. |
| 6. | Assemble each candle from short lengths of 24-gauge
oven-safe wire and clay as shown. |
| 7. | Press the icing onto the cake. Add 3 clay balls to the top
and push a candle wire through the middle of each ball. Bake the
cake according to the directions on the clay package.
