Here's a gift that Mom or Grandma will cotton to: an arrangement of pussy willows that will never go to seed, because they're made from cotton swabs.

| Branches
Brown marker Cotton swabs Tacky glue | |
| Seasons: Mother's day | |
| Materials: cotton balls | |
| Instructions: | |
| 1. | Collect a few brown branches and pinch off any leaves. |
| 2. |  To make the buds, use a brown marker to color the area just
below the tips of some cotton swabs. We used 40 double-tipped
swabs to make the bunch shown above. |
| 3. | Cut off each tip at a diagonal and use tacky glue to attach it to the branch. Allow the glue to dry completely before presenting your gift. |
