You don't need a hammer and nails, or even wood, to build this pretty little house--just a few gardening tools and a handful of sunflower seeds
Tips
While waiting for the seeds to sprout (it takes two to
three weeks in warm temperatures), your child can spruce up the
grounds around her house site--laying a stone walkway to its door
or making a "Welcome" sign.

| Seasons: Spring | |

| Instructions: | |
| 1. | Any time after the last frost is prime growing season. Use a mix of Mammoth sunflower seeds (for height) and Teddy Bear or Dwarf sunflower seeds (to fill in the walls). |
| 2. | Following package directions for planting, set the seeds in a horseshoe shape. |
| 3. | Choose a sunny spot where the soil is dry and drains
well--sunflowers can take the heat but will suffer from
overwatering.
