| Blue spray fabric paint (we used Cool Color Spray by Tulip
in Royal Blue)
Tapered round white lampshade (ours measures 4 inches in diameter at the top, 9 inches at the bottom, and 7 inches tall) Digital sheep image (download .PDF below) Three to four 4- by 6-inch sheets Brightec night luminescent photographic paper Scissors Hot-glue gun Glow-in-the-dark puffy fabric paint Jumbo (5/8-inch) green rickrack (we used 29 inches, but amount will vary with size of shade) | |
| Seasons: Year round | |
| Materials: lampshade | |
| Instructions: | |
| 1. | Protect your work area. Then, holding the paint can about a
foot from the shade, move the can in an arc to cover the shade
with paint, leaving areas of white for clouds (practice on paper
first). Let the paint dry.
|
| 2. | Print six to eight sheep on the Brightec paper (they'll print two per page), following the package directions. Cut out each sheep. |
| 3. | Hot-glue them to the shade. |
| 4. | Use fabric paint to add numbers. Glue on the rickrack (grass) as shown. Let all glued parts dry overnight before using the shade. |
