| Digital photos of your family (light-colored clothes will
glow best)
4- by 6-inch sheets of Brightec night luminescent photographic paper Scissors Tapered round white lampshade (ours measures 4 inches in diameter at the top, 9 inches at the bottom, and 7 inches tall) Hot-glue gun Glow-in-the-dark self-adhesive craft foam stars and planets Glow-in-the-dark puffy fabric paint Craft foam (for rocket or topper of your choice) 18-gauge wire | |

| Instructions: | |
| 1. | Using your computer, size the photos to fit onto the
Brightec paper. Then print, following the package directions. Cut
out the images.

| 2. | Hot-glue the photos to the shade.

| 3. | Stick on the stars and planets and add fabric paint swirls
and aliens.

| 4. | Cut two identical rocket shapes from craft foam. Decorate one side of each with fabric paint. Let dry. Wrap about 4 inches of a 10-inch length of wire around the wire frame at the top of the shade. Wrap the rest around a marker to create a spiral. Loosen the spiral and make a small loop at the end. Glue the rocket halves to either side of the loop, painted sides out. Let all glued parts dry overnight before using the shade. |
