Nine-year-old Jacob Berti of Old Hickory, Tennessee, can't hide his feelings -- that most valentines are a bit too lovey-dovey. His camouflage solution turns card giving into a covert operation with an easy-to-spot message of friendship.

Prep Time: 30 Minutes or Less
What you need:
 Scissors
Camouflage scrapbooking paper (available at most craft stores)
Light-colored card stock or paper
Glue stick
Marker
Seasons: Valentine's day
Materials: scrapbook paper
Instructions:
1.Cut a large heart from the camouflage paper and a smaller one from the lighter paper. (Ours measure 5 1/2 inches and 3 1/2 inches across.) Or use our template.
2.Glue the hearts together and add your message.

Suggested messages:
  • You're out of sight, valentine!
  • I can't hide it: I think you're cool
  • I can't hide my feelings for you
