Put grounded Frisbees to work sprucing up your house this winter. Wrapped in colorful cellophane, they're the ultimate in cool candy.
| Prep Time: About 1 hour | |
| What you need: | |
| Frisbee (or other flying disk)
Aluminum foil Colored cellophane Clear packing tape Twine Thin, weatherproof ribbon | |
| Seasons: Christmas, Winter | |
| Materials: aluminum foil, frisbee | |
| Instructions: | |
| 1. | Wrap the disk in aluminum foil to keep its color from
showing through. |
| 2. | Set the disk in the center of a large rectangle of
cellophane (we used a 30- by 40-inch piece for our 9-inch disk)
and fold over the 2 long sides of the film as if wrapping a
present. Use clear packing tape to completely seal the
seam. |
| 3. | Twist the ends of the cellophane like a candy wrapper and
tie them with the ends of a 2-foot length of twine, stringing the
twine across the back of the disk for a hanger, as shown.
Finally, tie pieces of ribbon over the ends of the twine.
