Set the stage for a Thanksgiving (or any time of year) puppet production with this colorful box backdrop.

| What you need: | |
| Large cardboard box
Construction paper Scissors Paintbrushes and paint Markers White glue Dowel or stick Tape or string | |
| Seasons: Thanksgiving | |
| Materials: cardboard, markers, paints, paper, string, wood | |
| Instructions: | |
| 1. | Remove the flaps from the top of the box. Cut sheets of construction paper to the same sizes as the box's back, sides and bottom. |
| 2. | Using paint and markers, decorate the paper to make a backdrop scene. Glue the backdrop pieces in place. |
| 3. | Cut a 2-inch slot across the width of the box top. Insert
the wooden stick, then tape or tie the
corn
husk puppet to the end of it so that it can be manipulated
from the top by the stage director.
