| Instructions: | |
| 1. | Start by drawing a butterfly wing on paper and cutting it out for a template. Place the template so that the straight edge is flush with the report cover fold, trace around it, and cut out the shape. Unfolded, the cutout will be a whole butterfly. Use this method to make seven more. |
| 2. | Cut small translucent circles of various colors and glue two onto each wing. |
| 3. | Wrap a pipe cleaner around the butterfly. Twist the ends of a piece of wire to the top and bottom of the pipe cleaner. |
| 4. | Tie a length of fishing line to the center of the wire on each butterfly. |
| 5. | Finally, shape the coat hanger into a figure eight and tie on the butterflies so that they hang at different lengths. |
