| Paper towel tube
Scissors Waxed paper Wide rubber band Colored foil Tape Ribbons Glue Glitter | |
| Seasons: New years | |
| Materials: cardboard, paper, ribbon | |
| Instructions: | |
| 1. | Cover one end of the tube with a piece of waxed paper and secure with the rubber band. Make two slits in the center of the waxed paper. |
| 2. | For a festive look, wrap the tube in colored foil and secure with tape. Add ribbons and foil strips along the side and write "Happy New Year" in glue before sprinkling with glitter. |
| 3. | Hum through the open end and play it like a kazoo (you may need to adjust the length of the slits for an authentic kazoo sound). |
