They can be all sizes, colors, and shapes. Cover dull socks with these little foot capes.

Prep Time: Under 1 hour
What you need:
 Colored foam sheets
Meet the Feet Template
Foam double-sided mounting
Scissors
1" wide polyester elastic
Cloth tape or duct tape
Fur
Googly eyes
Pipe cleaners
Push pin
Seasons: Birthday, Year round
Materials: fome-cor
Instructions:
1.Cut out a pair of foam sock-covers following the Meet the Feet Template (you can make them shorter for small feet -- but it's important to keep ankle opening large enough to accomodate foot). To view the template(.pdf file), you'll need Acrobat Reader. Install Acrobat Reader onto you computer and then use it to open the .pdf files.
2.To make the ankle opening, cut out the star shape shown in template.
3.Cut out a pair of 10" long 1" wide elastic strips and use cloth tape to close the elastic into a loop.
4.Attach the elastic loop to the underside of the foam foot using 3" of mounting tape, positioning loop at least 2" away from the foot opening.
5.Use mounting tape to attach foot cover decorations.
6.For Flower feet, fold a green pipe cleaner in half and twist the folded tip into a loop. Make a small hole at the toe of the foam foot. Use the flower template for the flower center and flower petal. Cut those shapes out of the colored foam and poke a hole in the center of each with a push pin. Thread the open end of the pipe cleaner through the flower center and then through the flower petal. Slide the flower up to the loop and then thread the pipe cleaner though the hole in the toe of the foam
7.For Funny Face feet, cut out a 3" oval of fur and then cut that oval in half, one for each foot. Attach the fur right below the opening for the ankle with the mounting tape. Glue on two googly eyes. Then cut out two red smiley mouths and glue it on.
8.When putting on the sock covers, push foot, toes first, through the ankle hole. Direct toes through elastic loop as you slide the rest of your foot through the ankle hole. Push the triangular tabs around ankle hole -- upward.
