| Instructions: | |
| 1. | To make one, start with a 2 1/2- by 26-inch strip of blue craft foam for the headband (you may have to attach two strips end to end with vinyl tape to make it long enough). |
| 2. | Next, cut out nine or more pairs of stars from red, white, and blue craft foam. |
| 3. | Fashion a stem for each pair by twisting together two pipe cleaners, then use double-sided tape to sandwich the stars around the top. |
| 4. | Trim the stems to various lengths and tape them inside the headband. |
| 5. | Finally, wrap the band around your child's head and paper-clip the overlapped ends. |
