While raising 7 children money was very tight so I used grocery paper bags for cardstock. I kept several size used envelopes for templates to make envelopes that fit my cards. I kept a can that I collected feathers, buttons, pieces of ribbons, etc all year and when a card was needed we would embellish it with something from the can.
