From the Disney Family Editors: Here's a different way to recycle those old jars you've got laying around. Once you're done painting, use one of these cool containers to spiff up your home office or kitchen.

Recycle a jar into a pretty gift vase or pencil pot that will add some color to the recipient's desk.

Prep Time: Under 1 hour
What you need:
	Clean, empty jar Acrylic or liquid tempera paints Paintbrushes or cotton swabs White glue Clear glaze (available at craft stores)
Seasons: Birthday, Christmas, Hanukkah, Mother's day, Year-round
Materials: paints
Instructions:
1.	To make the paints stick to the glass, first mix the colors with some glue. Keep the paint thick so it won't run.
2.	Use brushes or cotton swabs to paint a design on the jar. To erase a mistake, use a paper towel to wipe off the paint before it hardens.
3.	Let the paint dry, then seal the finished design with a coat of glaze.

This is the best solution to painting on glass that I have found w/o using the expensive glass paint. The only thing is to make sure that the paint is completly dry before putting on the sealer, because it will take the paint off if not.
