Paper Pointillism

Pointillism ... or poke-illism, actually. Whatever you call it, these paper window ornaments brighten any room.

Tips
Start small, with a shape that's about the size of an ornament, but don't cut it out of your big sheet of paper. This makes it easier to grip the paper as you poke it.

Prep Time: Under 1 hour
What you need:
 Cardstock
Pencil
Push pin or straight pin
Seasons: Year round
Materials: paper
Instructions:
1.Draw a faint design on the cardstock (pick a subject with elaborate lines, such as birds, butterflies or fish).
2.Use a pushpin or straight pin to poke holes in the paper along the lines.
3.Trim and hang your art in a window, and let the sun shine through the lacy designs.
