What Parents Should Know

MERRY CHRISTMAS II YOU is the second compilation of holiday tunes from R&B mega-star Mariah Carey. The collection includes 13 tracks that run the gamut from old-time classics like "Here Comes Santa Claus" to newer, original tunes such as "All I Want for Christmas Is You" (a different version of which appeared on her first holiday album). None of the songs feature adult content of any kind, though a handful of tracks -- "First Noel," "O Little Town of Bethlehem," and others -- have Christian themes.
In "Merry Christmas II You," Mariah Carey lends her fantastic vocals to lots of holiday songs like "The First Noel" and "Here Comes Santa Claus" that have been around forever, helping them sound new and appealing again. She also throws in some of her own upbeat holiday tunes with a modern twist, with "Oh Santa!" standing out as a special highlight. The end result is a contemporary take on the traditional holiday album that everyone in the family will enjoy.
