" Make a Wave" is the new duet between teen singing star Demi Lovato and JoBros heartthrob Joe Jonas. The two self-proclaimed best friends (who recently went public with their budding romance) recorded the track for the Disney's upcoming movie Oceans -- a film about the world of the sea and all of the things that happen within. Like the movie, the single is meant to promote environmental awareness; to that end, all of the song's lyrics are extremely wholesome and positive, encouraging people to take a global view and help protect the environment for generations to come.
The musical style of " Make a Wave" adheres to the pop approach in most of the other music made by both Lovato and Jonas -- guaranteeing that the song will appeal to the legions of young fans who admire both artists. While Jonas is a slightly stronger singer than Lovato, both give fine performances here that are strengthened by their truly heartfelt delivery.
