What Parents Should Know
Parents need to know that there's nothing new on this soundtrack, just a large (26-track) collection of the first season's fun-tastic pop-rock songs and sarcasm that help make the TV show such a hit for kids and parents. There's a song called "Squirrels in My Pants," but don't worry; it's perfectly innocent. Just like Phineas and Ferb, right?
- Families can talk about the main characters, who often get themselves into predicaments. Young kids can be impressionable when it comes to favorite TV shows and characters. Ask kids if it's ever safe to imitate the actions of their favorite characters.
- Talk to kids about soundtracks. What is the purpose of a soundtrack? Does listening to music from the show make you want to watch more Phineas and Ferb?
