What Parents Should Know
The game is very violent. Like in the James Bond movies,
your character has the ability to take on villains using any
means necessary, including the use of firearms, hand-to-hand
combat and high-tech gadgetry that is specifically designed to
injure your opposition. Due to the graphic violence, the game
is not suitable for children under the age of 13.
Common Sense Media Review
With the release of JAMES BOND 007: EVERYTHING OR NOTHING,
EA Games gives players an up close and personal look at the
fast-action lifestyle of secret agent James Bond. The game is
set up like a Bond movie, taking you from scene to scene as you
perform a variety of challenging tasks before moving on to the
next scene.
To play out the challenge of thinking and acting like Bond, players can engage in hand-to-hand fighting, using objects from game environments as weapons, as well as accessing guns and gadgets for the Q-lab. The use of firearms, which is just about impossible to resist considering the opposition is firing at Bond with an arsenal of ammunition, is really the preferred weapon of choice in this game.
Other game features include a challenging single-player mode, two-player co-op missions and four-player multiplayer arena modes, all set in third person views and featuring multiple playable characters. With multiple ways to complete missions, the game can provide advanced players with hours of enjoyment.
Overall, the game will certainly provide the Bond fan with plenty of excitement. However, the amount of violence is a bit over the top. The game does have a rating of T (Teen), and is not intended for younger audiences. You could technically play the game without using firearms, but they are constantly brought to your attention on every screen, making it a very attractive option for players.
