What Parents Should Know
It's the Bratz! They are all about the next mall crawl, prom
night, and slumber party. Yes, Virginia, there is life beyond
the hottest new eye shadow color, but you won't learn about it
at this site.
Common Sense Media Review
These Bratz divas are stylin' and funky. They are all about
fashion, preferring big clunky shoes, faux fur jackets, and
navel-revealing tops. They have Awesome Accessories, too, and
love to try on both clothes and make-up. The only question is:
as portrayed on this site, why don't any of them appear to have
any noses?
The site is arranged into several different scenarios: Winter Wonderland, Fashion Mall, Bratz School, Slumber Party, and Formal Funk. Each area features at least four interactive games, mostly involving dress-up or make-up. Select your fave Bratz character and give her a new hair color, then choose a lipstick, eye shadow, and accessories to pump up the volume. Little girls will enjoy these games, while bigger girls may prefer the other games that require more skill, such as virtual skiing and snowboarding.
Those who have registered for the club (free, requires parental permission) can use more of the site's features, including a personal date book/calendar scheduler.
Ooh, here come the Boyz--they are the girl toys associated with the Bratz Pack. There are no dress-up games involving them (yet).
Of course there are sections of the site with information on Bratz products, as well as links to retailers who will sell them to you.
By the way, there is a small transparent button in the top right corner of the page that will allow you to turn off the music.
